Hiring! Psychologist – Full-Time Opportunity in Avondale, Arizona

We are hiring a Clinical Psychologist to join our team of talented medical professionals to conduct a one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exam in Arizona.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 per year + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Completes diagnostic interviews to identify the current needs of patients
• Selects, administers, scores, and interprets psychological tests and completes psychological assessments
• Assesses patients and makes recommendations on the need for or modifications of therapeutic activities
• Conducts various forms of individual and group psychotherapy, including specialized areas of treatment such as trauma-informed CBT and family counseling
• Consult with medical personnel regarding the patient’s mental health status
• Writes reports regarding patient progress and competency
• Participates in the treatment team, staff, and professional meetings
• Participates in training programs as a supervisor for trainees
• Works collaboratively with other disciplines
• Initiates, designs, collaborates, and reports on psychological research or program evaluation
• Presents on behavioral health topics to individuals in the community

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in psychology or a Doctor of Psychology degree
• Licensed by the Arizona State Board of Psychologist Examiners and in good standing with no restrictions
• Have an active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing situations.
