Hiring! Psychologist – Full-Time Opportunity in Steele, North Dakota

Our growing interdisciplinary team is seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our outpatient practice. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a range of mental health conditions, providing evidence-based therapy, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 per year + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate emotional, cognitive, and behavioral functioning, and diagnose mental health conditions
  • Provide individual, group, couples, or family therapy based on evidence-based techniques
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate patient care
  • Stay informed about advancements in psychological research and therapeutic techniques, and participate in continuing education activities
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records
  • Advocate for clients' rights and needs within the healthcare system
  • Administer and interpret psychological tests to assess cognitive abilities, personality traits, and emotional functioning
  • Design and deliver psychoeducational programs to promote mental health

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology, with a specialization in clinical, counseling, or a related field
  • Current licensure as a Psychologist in the relevant state or region
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or counseling setting
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and mental health disorders
