About the Role:
We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist (PsyD) to join our team. As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population. You will quickly build rapport with patients and coordinate care with internal and external providers by forming excellent provider-patient alliances. The Psychologist position is in an outpatient clinical setting where you will interact directly with patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological assessments, evaluations, and testing to diagnose mental health conditions.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client needs.
- Administer and interpret psychological tests to assess cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Offer crisis intervention and risk assessment services when necessary
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers to ensure integrated care.
- Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities.
Requirements:
- Active Clinical Psychologist license (PsyD) in the state of Hawaii (required).
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from an APA-accredited program.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy and assessments.
- Proficiency in psychological testing and interpretation.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.
- Strong communication, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
