Hiring! Clinical Psychologist (PsyD)

Location: Huntington Beach, California

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $90,000.00 - $100,000 per year + benefits

Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary practice. Work alongside experienced Psychiatrists and Neuropsychologists in a supportive, collaborative environment dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

The psychologist will support adult outpatients from a variety of medical-surgical specialties including oncology, cardiology and neurology. In addition, the psychologist will also help facilitate mental health referrals when longer term care is indicated.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health needs.
  • Provide psychotherapy and mental health counseling to individuals, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Engage in telehealth services as needed to accommodate flexible scheduling.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Ph.D. or PsyD. from an APA accredited doctoral program in psychology, or an Ed.D from a doctoral program in Psychology
  • California Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) - CA Board of Behavioral Sciences -REQUIRED
  • Minimum of 2 Years Clinical experience
  • Experience in program development/evaluation
  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED
  • Works effectively and ethically with diverse patient populations using appropriate assessment, intervention, team, communication and professional relationship skills
  • Formulates a useful case conceptualization that draws on current psychological research and theory
  • Demonstrated competence in group, individual, and family therapy
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills and oral and written presentation skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional-development
