What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate and diagnose mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues.
- Developing personalized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique needs and goals.
- Providing individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy using evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy.
- Managing a caseload of clients, providing regular therapy sessions and monitoring their progress toward therapeutic goals.
- Facilitating group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops on topics such as emotional regulation, stress management, and conflict resolution.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers to provide integrated care for clients.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with legal, ethical, and insurance requirements.
- Providing mentorship and supervision to early-career clinicians or interns (if applicable).
- Participating in ongoing professional development to stay informed on best practices and cutting-edge research in the field.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active PsyD or PhD licensure in Psychology in the state of Hawaii (or eligibility for licensure in Hawaii).
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in providing direct psychological services (outpatient therapy experience preferred).
- Strong expertise in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.).
- Ability to build strong therapeutic alliances with diverse client populations.
- Passion for helping individuals improve their mental health and relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High ethical standards and ability to work within a collaborative team.
- Ability to work independently while managing a diverse caseload.
