Location: Hempstead, New York
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 + Benefits

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PsyD or PhD) to join our diverse and growing team. If you're looking for a rewarding opportunity where clinical autonomy, collaboration, and ongoing professional development are valued, this role may be a great fit for you.

As a Clinical Psychologist in our outpatient practice, you will provide a range of psychological services, including assessment, psychotherapy, and treatment planning for individuals, couples, and/or families. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of presenting issues and client populations, including trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, and more.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and psychological evaluations
  • Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy based on best-practice, evidence-based modalities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to client goals
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and adhere to ethical and legal standards
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other clinicians for coordinated care
  • Participate in case consultations, supervision, and team development meetings
  • Engage in continuing education and training (CEU support available)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Doctoral degree (PsyD or PhD) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in New York State (required)
  • Experience working in outpatient settings preferred
  • Training in evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, psychodynamic therapy, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical practice
  • Comfortable working with a broad spectrum of clients, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and underserved populations
