Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a flexible weekly schedule, including weekdays and occasional weekends to ensure seamless coverage of patient care. Specific work hours will be discussed during the interview process to accommodate the needs of our practice and the candidate.
BASIC FUNCTION:
- Perform radiographic procedures and patient services using various imaging modalities.
- Apply principles of radiation protection to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Evaluate radiographs for technical quality, ensuring accurate and precise imaging results.
- Exercise professional judgment in the performance of procedures to optimize patient care.
- Provide essential patient care during radiographic exams, ensuring patient comfort and well-being.
- Recognize and respond promptly to patient conditions requiring immediate action, including initiating life support measures if necessary.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant privacy regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from an AMA-accredited Radiography Program or equivalent.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiographic Technologists or equivalent.
- Competency in the components of radiography practice as appropriate.
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Must possess valid CPR certification.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including the ability to complete tasks using software such as MediTech (Hospital Support Software), Halogen (Performance Appraisal System), Relias (Education System), and the ability to retrieve emails and complete online enrollments for health insurance/benefits and any other assigned programs.
- Weekly Work Schedule:
- The Radiology Technologist role is a full-time position, with a flexible weekly schedule that may include weekdays, evenings, and occasional weekends to ensure seamless coverage of patient care.
