Position: Radiation Therapist

Location: Utica, New York (Diagnostic Center)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per year

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and well-trained Radiation Therapist to join our diagnostic center in California. In this full-time role, you will administer radiation treatments to patients with cancer and other diseases, ensuring precision, safety, and patient comfort. You will collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiation treatments according to physician prescriptions and treatment plans.
  • Operate and maintain linear accelerators and radiation therapy equipment.
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning and radiation dose delivery.
  • Monitor patients for side effects or complications and report concerns to the medical team.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and quality assurance measures.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
  • Active and unrestricted license in New York.
  • BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience in a diagnostic center or oncology setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety and treatment protocols.
  • Excellent technical, communication, and patient care skills.
