Full-time Radiology Tech Needed at BioImaging & Diagnostics in Renton, Washington

You will utilize your expertise in operating state-of-the-art radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images that aid in accurate diagnoses and treatment planning. We are seeking Radiology Technologists with a keen eye for detail, a profound understanding of radiologic procedures, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.
Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a flexible weekly schedule, including weekdays and occasional weekends to ensure seamless coverage of patient care.
Specific work hours will be discussed during the interview process to accommodate the needs of our practice and the candidate.
Essential Responsibilities
- Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
- Obtain all pertinent medical information from patient to identify age specific needs.
- Performs Radiographic procedures of high technical quality.
- Utilizes proper radiation protection to protect patient from excessive radiation.
- Proficient in use of all equipment reporting all deficiencies to immediate supervisor
- Stocks x-ray rooms between exams and at end of shift.
- Assists in other areas of the Radiology department as assigned.
- Performs appropriate diagnostic procedures as ordered, Assists Radiologist performing procedure.
- Able to take on additional procedures during periods of heavy workload.
- Documents any changes in patient condition using appropriate forms.
- Obtains appropriate medical history before patient examination and prepares patient for exam.
- Performs receptionist and Radiology Assistant duties as needed.
- Produces radiographs and practices isolation techniques per policy and procedures.
- Demonstrates knowledge of patients age-specific need and provide the care needed.
- Preforms other duties as assigned.
- Follows ALARA guideline and uses Universal Precautions in all situations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from an AMA-accredited Radiography Program or equivalent.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiographic Technologists or equivalent.
- Competency in the components of radiography practice as appropriate.
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Must possess valid CPR certification.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including the ability to complete tasks using software such as MediTech (Hospital Support Software), Halogen (Performance Appraisal System), Relias (Education System), and the ability to retrieve emails and complete online enrollments for health insurance/benefits and any other assigned programs.

- The Radiology Technologist role is a full-time position, with a flexible weekly schedule that may include weekdays, evenings, and occasional weekends to ensure seamless coverage of patient care.
Salary and Compensation:
