Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – Hospital Setting (Atlanta, Georgia)
Job Type: Full Time
Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM
Compensation: $70,000.00 - $90,000 per year + benefits
We are currently seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team and help provide high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures (X-rays, CT scans, etc.) in accordance with physicians’ orders while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to provide accurate imaging results that contribute to effective patient diagnoses and treatment plans.
Job Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and other imaging tests as needed.
- Operate radiologic equipment and ensure proper calibration and maintenance.
- Review patient history and physician orders to determine appropriate imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including imaging results and procedural notes.
- Follow strict safety protocols, including radiation safety procedures to protect patients, staff, and self.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality imaging and accurate diagnosis.
- Assist in the preparation and management of imaging reports for physicians and patients.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of equipment and imaging rooms.
- Stay current with advancements in radiology techniques and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Active and unencumbered Radiologic Technologist license in the state of Georgia.
- Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in California.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
- Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred but not required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (ACLS preferred for trauma/emergency settings)
- Proficiency in digital imaging equipment and PACS systems
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital or urgent care environment
