SCHEDULE:

This is a full-time position with a flexible weekly schedule, offering options for part-time and PRN positions to accommodate a variety of work preferences and personal needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct thorough and accurate assessments of patients' health conditions, including physical, psychological, and emotional aspects, to develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring proper dosage, timing, and documentation.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, recognizing any deviations or changes that require immediate attention.
  • Provide skilled wound care and perform dressing changes as required, ensuring aseptic techniques and promoting wound healing.
  • Collaborate with physicians, healthcare team members, and interdisciplinary professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
  • Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care measures to enhance patient understanding and adherence to prescribed treatments.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies and critical situations, providing life-saving interventions when necessary.
  • Accurately document all patient interactions, interventions, and observations in electronic health records (EHR) or other documentation systems.
  • Assess and manage patients' pain levels, implementing appropriate pain relief measures as prescribed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from the appropriate state.
  • Relevant clinical experience, preferably in a healthcare setting that aligns with your organization's specialty (e.g., hospital, clinic, home healthcare).
  • Specialized certifications relevant to your healthcare organization's needs, such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or other specialty certifications.
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, the ability to analyze complex situations, and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in performing nursing procedures, administering medications, using medical equipment, and utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Communication skills, including effective written and verbal communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Prioritize patient-centered care, showing empathy, compassion, and the ability to advocate for patients' needs and preferences.
