Full-time Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) - Join Our Mental Health Clinic in Honolulu, Hawaii

Our mental health clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The qualified candidate will provide comprehensive psychological services to a diverse population and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals seeking mental health support.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Occasional flexibility may be required to accommodate patient needs and scheduling preferences.
  • Some evening or weekend hours may be scheduled to accommodate patients with limited availability.

Salary:

$120,000 to $150,000 per year + bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate individuals' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups to address a wide range of mental health concerns.
  • Administer and interpret psychological tests and assessments to aid in diagnostic clarification and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors, to provide coordinated and integrated care.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support to individuals in acute distress, ensuring their safety and providing appropriate referrals when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant records.
  • Stay informed about current research and advancements in the field of psychology, continuously expanding your knowledge and skills.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to other mental health professionals, such as psychology interns and doctoral students, when applicable.
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and promote collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree (PhD/PsyD) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a psychologist.
  • Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological theories, assessment tools, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions, and formulating treatment plans.
  • Experience in providing individual and group therapy, utilizing various therapeutic approaches.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer proficiency.
