Full-time Mental Health Therapists Needed at a Psychiatric Outpatient Office in San Bernardino, CA

Our well-established psychiatric outpatient office is looking for a compassionate and skillful Licensed Mental Health Therapist who can help us provide integrated care services to our growing community of patients.

Our office collaborates with medical providers to deliver comprehensive mental health services to individuals with co-occurring medical conditions such as autoimmune disorders, substance use disorders, and chronic pain. Our ideal candidate is motivated to support our patients' overall well-being and help them navigate various challenges they may be facing.


Job Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough mental health assessments, taking into consideration medical conditions that affect patients' mental wellbeing

- Develop and implement integrated treatment plans, addressing both psychiatric and medical conditions

- Offer individual and group therapy sessions, tailored to each patient's unique circumstances and utilizing evidence-based approaches to support patient growth.

- Collaborate with medical providers to ensure coordinated care and effective treatment outcomes

- Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies

- Educate patients on how mental health relates to physical wellbeing, empowering them to manage their conditions

- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards

- Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and interdisciplinary care planning

- Stay up-to-date with relevant research, best practices, and advancements in integrated care


Qualifications:

- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution

- Current and valid licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state

- Experience in addressing mental health needs for individuals with co-occurring medical conditions

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines while ensuring patient confidentiality

- Familiarity with computer applications and electronic health record systems

- Strong ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team

- Salary Range: $115,000-$130,000 a year for Full Time. Part Time at $63,000-65,000 a year
