Job Description
We are seeking a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) to work with individuals coping with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. The Therapist provides therapy services, with a focus on relational and interpersonal dynamics within families, marriages, and couples.
Position: Primary Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC)
Location: In-Person, San Jose, California
Salary Range: $115K-$130K a year for Full Time. Part Time at $63-65K a year
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Providing individual, family and group therapy.
- Conducting initial and ongoing assessments.
- Developing individualized and follow-up treatment plans.
- Actively participating in the multi-disciplinary team process to contribute to positively to the overall treatment plan for clients.
- Level II Additional Duties: provide supervision to Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and/or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors.
Requirements:
- Education: Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- License: Current, valid license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- Two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders preferred
- Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
- Proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in treating mood disorders.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
