Full-time/Part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Needed at Empowered Essence Counseling Center in Raleigh, North Carolina

We are seeking employment of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is eager to work in a diverse environment. This person must have a passion to work in an under-served environment and must be a team player. The individual must believe in the mission and vision of Charter Oak Health Center in order to deliver top customer service.
OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
Works directly as a clinician, in the office and the community, with assigned clients who experience symptoms of major mental illness and/or severe emotional disorders.

- Creates and/or implements integrated care plans, ensures access to linked services, and exchanges information among clients, family members, and providers.
- Provides a range of brief, focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services for clients.

- Provides a range of brief, focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services for clients
- Assists with crisis intervention efforts and intervenes as required
- Carries a caseload to clients including assessment, individual, group, and family therapy
- Ensures clients receive treatment services that are focused on presenting problems and clients request service
- Monitors client meetings, admission, continued to stay, and discharge criteria
- Ensures timely completion of reports and data submission
- On-call coverage during and after program hours as assigned
- Participates in committees to improve agency service delivery and quality improvement
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Expert knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for assigned populations, risk assessment, and crisis management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational and planning skills.
- Demonstrates competency in age-related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience as a clinician is preferred.
- A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field is required.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: LCSW in the state is required.
- Additional Qualifications: Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
SALARY & BENEFITS:

- Base Salary: $70,000-85,000 per year
