Full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Needed at Nurturing Minds Counseling in McKinney, TX

You will be at the forefront of providing vital services and support to vulnerable populations, and engage in individual and family counseling, case management, and advocacy, helping individuals overcome challenges and access necessary resources.

Work Schedule:

Full-time position with regular business hours

Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required based on client needs and program activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges.
  • Develop service plans that encompass goals, interventions, and progress monitoring.
  • Provide counseling and support to individuals and families experiencing various life challenges.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop personalized service plans and connect them with community resources.
  • Offer crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning as needed.
  • Collaborate with community agencies and organizations to coordinate services and advocate for clients.
  • Engage in community outreach activities to raise awareness and promote agency services.
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and staff training.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Experience in a social service agency or similar setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of social and economic justice issues, community resources, and trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent communication, cultural competence, and problem-solving skills.

Salary:

$60,000-$100,000 per year plus bonus
