Full-time/Part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Needed at The Mind Wellness Center.

We are now looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that is excited about working in a varied workplace. It is critical that this individual believes totally in The Mind Wellness Center goal and vision, since their devotion will be tested.

OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

As a clinician, you will deal directly with clients who may be suffering from significant mental illness and/or severe emotional problems, both in the office and in the community.

-Provides short, evidence-based, and developmentally appropriate screening and arranges for more complete evaluations as needed.

-Develops and implements integrated care plans, improving access to interrelated services and information sharing between clients, family members, and providers.

-Provides customers with a range of succinct, targeted preventive, treatment, and rehabilitation programs.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Directly serves as a therapist, engaging with assigned clients who are experiencing signs of significant mental illness and/or severe emotional problems, both in the office and in the community.

-Actively participates as a team member to further shared team objectives, showing a commitment to cooperation.

-Exhibits successful and courteous collaboration with people from varied backgrounds, including different cultures, beliefs, interpersonal styles, attitudes, and behaviors.

-Operates competently within COHC's organizational and financial structures, as well as those external systems with which they interface.

-Maintains the standards set by professional ethical principles and the COHC code of conduct.

-Collaborates both individually and in groups to improve skills, meet performance objectives, and improve results, with a strong emphasis on choice and empowerment.

-Identifies, prevents, and reports dangerous situations; employs proper processes to provide a safe working environment performs short, evidence-based, and developmentally appropriate screening and, where warranted, performs or arranges for more extensive evaluations

-Creates and/or implements integrated care plans, assures access to related services, and facilitates information sharing between clients, family members, and providers.

-Provides clients with a variety of short, focused prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation programs.

-Assists in crisis intervention efforts and intervenes when necessary

-Client workload includes assessment, individual, group, and family therapy.

-Ensures that customers receive therapeutic services that are centered on their needs, and that clients seek help.

-Client meetings, admission, continuing stay, and discharge criteria are all monitored.

-Ensures that reports and data are sent on time.

-Assigned on-call coverage during and after program hours

-Participates in committees aimed at improving agency service delivery and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Expert knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for assigned populations, risk assessment, and crisis management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills.
  • Demonstrates competency in age-related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience as a clinician is preferred.
  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field is required.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: LCSW in the state is required.
  • Additional Qualifications: Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
