Full-time/Part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Needed at Mindfulbear Counseling Center.

We are now looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that is excited about working in a varied workplace. This person should be a collaborative team member with a strong commitment to servicing underprivileged groups. To deliver great customer service, employees must be aligned with Mindfulbear Counseling Center’s goal and vision.

OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

Works directly with assigned clients who have signs of significant mental illness and/or severe emotional problems as a therapist in the office and in the community.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Works individually and in groups to improve skills, meet performance goals, and improve results, with a focus on fostering choice and empowerment.

-Identifies, avoids, and reports harmful occurrences while adhering to applicable safety protocols.

-Conducts or arranges for more extensive evaluations as necessary, and administers short, evidence-based, and developmentally appropriate examinations.

-Creating and/or carrying out integrated care plans, ensuring access to related services, and facilitating information sharing among clients, family members, and providers.

-Provides clients with a range of short, focused preventive, treatment, and rehabilitation programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Expert knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for assigned populations, risk assessment, and crisis management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills.
  • Demonstrates competency in age-related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience as a clinician is preferred.
  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field is required.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: LCSW in the state is required.
  • Additional Qualifications: Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
