The Outpatient Counselor will be responsible for substance use and mental health counseling, case management, and treatment planning for youth, adults, and families who have been referred for treatment in the outpatient setting.

Seeking Full-time LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) Wanted in Gainesville, FL

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in human service or behavioral healthcare field with two (2) years experience in the field of chemical dependency, mental health or adolescent treatment required
• LCSW with two (2) years of paid full-time experience in the field of chemical dependency, mental health or adolescent treatment, or equivalent required.
• Licensed to practice independently as an LCSW
• Significant training and/or experience working with couples will be greatly considered.

Responsibilities:

• The Outpatient Counselor will be responsible for substance use and mental health counseling, case management and treatment planning for youth, adults and families who have been referred to Maryhaven for treatment in the outpatient setting
• We use a billing service that handles claims, client and insurance accounts receivable, benefit and eligibility checks, and payment plans
• Provide individual and couples therapy to clients of all age ranges
• Complete all notes and record-keeping activities of all your clients in a timely manner
• Schedule all ongoing appointments with your clients and maintain an updated calendar
• Ability to work with a variety of clinical presentations
