Full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker Needed at Riverplace Health System in Thornton, CO
The LCSW will be responsible for providing psychotherapy and other mental health services to patients with mental health conditions.
The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping patients improve their mental health.
Work Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Full-time schedule)
Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for providing psychotherapy and other mental health services to patients with mental health conditions
- The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping patients improve their mental health
- Provide psychotherapy and other mental health services to patients with mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ mental health status, including their emotional, behavioral, and social functioning
- Develop and implement treatment plans that are evidence-based, culturally competent, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, based on patient response and feedback from healthcare professionals
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, including information on mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice, including maintaining confidentiality and obtaining informed consent from patients
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience providing psychotherapy and other mental health services to patients with mental health conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Strong clinical skills, including the ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Experience using electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software to manage patient records and coordinate care.
- Knowledge of mental health conditions and treatments, and an understanding of the challenges faced by patients with mental health conditions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice.
Salary:
$90,000 to $105,000 per year
