Full-time/Part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Position Available at Psychodynamic Family Group Therapy, Inc.

We are now looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who enjoys working in a varied workplace. This person must be passionately devoted to working in an underprivileged setting and work well with others. Delivering outstanding customer service requires a strong synergy with Psychodynamic Family Group Therapy, Inc. purpose and vision.

OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

This role include direct therapeutic treatment with assigned clients who are dealing with symptoms of significant mental diseases and/or severe emotional problems, both in the office and in the community.

- Creates and/or implements comprehensive care plans, ensures access to related services, and enables information flow between clients, family members, and providers.

- Provides customers with a range of short, targeted services that include prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Acts directly as a therapist, providing assistance to assigned clients having signs of significant mental illness and/or severe emotional problems both in the office and in the community.

- Actively and successfully works as a team member, working toward common team goals and promoting collaboration.

- Exhibits effective and courteous communication and collaboration with people from various backgrounds, views, interpersonal styles, attitudes, and behaviors.

- Functions competently inside COHC's organizational and financial frameworks, as well as the external systems with which they interface.

- Follows the high standards set in professional ethical principles and the COHC code of conduct.

- Strives for individual and team progress by concentrating on improved skills, performance objectives, and better results, all while emphasizing choice and empowerment.

- Performs brief, evidence-based, and developmentally appropriate screens and arranges for more extensive examinations as needed.

- Creates and/or implements integrated care plans, ensures access to related services, and enables information sharing between clients, family members, and providers.

- Provides customers with a range of short, targeted services that include prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.

- Assists with crisis intervention efforts and takes appropriate action as necessary.

- Manages a client caseload that includes assessment, individual, group, and family therapy.

- Ensures that clients receive treatment services that are in line with their presenting concerns and service needs.

- Ensures that clients receive treatment services that are suited to their presenting issues and are in line with their service requirements.

- Responsible for client meetings, admissions, continuous stays, and discharge criteria.

- Ensures timely completion of reports and submission of required data.

- As assigned, provides on-call coverage during and after program hours.

- Participates actively in committees focused at improving agency service delivery and quality improvement activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Possesses expert-level knowledge in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment pertaining to the specified client populations, along with proficiency in risk assessment and crisis management.

- Exhibits exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Demonstrates strong organizational and planning abilities.

- Displays competence in addressing age-related or specialty issues and recognizing the developmental needs of each served population.

- Preferred experience includes a minimum of 2 years working as a clinician.

- Holds a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.

- Requires licensure/certification/registration as an LCSW in the state.

- Additional qualifications such as bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish are desirable.
