HIRING FULL-TIME LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER - OUTPATIENT

We are looking for a compassionate licensed clinical social worker to help serve the communities that we have a presence in by assisting our clients that are affected by issues such as neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, mental health, and parental substance abuse. Cases will be handled by phone or in person. You will be in charge of assessing clients and gathering relevant information about their cases, providing crisis intervention, and contacting and making referrals to other agencies and services.

A key to succeeding in this role is the ability to stay calm and empathize with clients when they are upset. You should also be aware of others’ reactions and understand why they react as they do.

Working Schedule: Available in Full-time from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, manage and implement support packages to help clients deal with difficulties and overcome dependencies
  • Interview service users and assess their current condition, needs, strengths and weaknesses
  • Address each case as a unit and set tailored measurable goals
  • Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
  • Offer information and counseling on the best course of action during sessions
  • Maintain accurate records and report on clients’ status
  • Attend case conferences and provide evidence in court
  • Act as a key-worker and cooperate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Refer clients to community services to help them in recovery

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Clinical experience in providing social work and counseling services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Cultural competence and sensitivity.
