Full-time/Part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker Needed

Our community center is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate is fully licensed with the state board and will provide essential support and guidance to seniors and their families, ensuring their well-being and promoting a high quality of life.

As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in evaluating the psychosocial needs of our clients and coordinating services to enhance their overall well-being.

Work Hours:

- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Full-time schedule)

- Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required based on client needs and availability.

- Flexibility in scheduling is necessary to accommodate visits and ensure continuous care.

Pay:

$70,000 to $100,000 per year

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of seniors' psychosocial needs, considering emotional, mental, and social factors.
  • Collaborate with clients and their families to develop personalized care plans addressing their specific goals and preferences.
  • Offer counseling and emotional support to seniors and their families, helping them navigate life transitions and challenges.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and access to community resources, ensuring they receive appropriate support and services.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degreein Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a social work role, preferably in a community center or geriatric setting.
  • Thorough knowledge of social work principles, aging-related issues, and available community resources.
  • Excellent assessment, counseling, and problem-solving skills.
