Role Overview:
As an integral part of our team, LCSWs play a pivotal role in enhancing the well-being and development of infants and toddlers with disabilities or delays. Responsibilities span from conducting evaluations and assessments to collaborating closely with families and multi-disciplinary teams in implementing Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments.
- Engage actively in IFSP development and execution.
- Monitor progress and outcomes collaboratively within the team.
- Provide tailored support to families, ensuring optimal child development.
- Adhere to all Federal and State regulations governing early intervention services.
- Foster strong relationships with children, families, and team members, emphasizing a conducive learning environment.
- Design individualized treatment strategies grounded in evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment Principles.
- Offer families invaluable insights, skills, and support to bolster child development.
- Champion the coaching model and natural environment teaching approaches.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
- Valid LCSW licensure by the Department of Public Health.
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum of one year of experience in early intervention with children.
- Demonstrated commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices.
- Bilingual capabilities are advantageous.
- Stellar organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Collaborative spirit with a deep respect for team dynamics.
