Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Glendale, CA

The Clinician (LCSW) is part of a dynamic team within an integrated model of care dedicated to providing adolescents with support and resources that will inspire effective long-lasting change. We approach adolescent mental health concerns through a multidisciplinary model that facilitates ongoing communication between members of the care team and provides greater continuity of care.
We specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, and more. Our clinic offers evidence-based therapies and personalized care to support our clients' well-being.

Work Schedule:
Full-time and Part-time position with flexible scheduling, including some evening and weekend hours to accommodate clients' needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts professional level one-on-one therapeutic and psychosocial counseling with adolescents that is solution-focused
- Assists adolescents with skill building to overcome current and future challenges
- Coordinate treatment planning and provide crisis evaluations as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Conducts crisis intervention assessments and other necessary screenings to plan treatment effectively
- Provides specialized treatment to adolescents who are seriously mentally ill, cognitively impaired, or developmentally disabled to meet their specific needs
- Prepares and conducts group counseling on various mental health topics
- Produces informative concise notes consistently documenting intake, treatment plans, and progress
- Conducts training for probation and detention staff to assist them with effective skill-building ideas and plans for adolescents within their supervision
- Coordinates discharge with community providers to ensure continuity of care after detainment
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work required.
- Active State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Salary and Benefits:
- The annual base salary range is $80k to $100k
- Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/ or skill level, among other things
