Position Available: Full-time/Part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at True Beacon Mind Mental Wellness in California.

The mission of True Beacon Mind Mental Wellness guides our daily work, and we are currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team.

Objective of the Position: The primary objective of this position is to work directly as a clinician, both in the office and the community, with assigned clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illness and/or severe emotional disorders.

Position Core Competencies:

  5. Adhere to professional ethical guidelines and the code of conduct of COHC.
  6. Collaborate individually and within teams to enhance skills, achieve performance goals, and improve outcomes with a focus on choice and empowerment.
  7. Identify, prevent, and report unsafe situations, utilizing appropriate procedures to ensure a safe environment.
  8. Conduct brief, evidence-based, and developmentally appropriate screenings, arranging more detailed assessments when necessary.
  9. Create and/or implement integrated care plans, ensuring access to linked services, and exchanging information among clients, family members, and providers.
  10. Provide a range of brief, focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services for clients.

Duties & Responsibilities: The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Directly working as a clinician with assigned clients in the office and community.

  • Identifying, preventing, and reporting unsafe situations.
  • Conducting screenings and arranging detailed assessments when needed.
  • Creating and implementing integrated care plans.
  • Providing brief, focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services for clients.
  • Assisting with crisis intervention efforts as required.
  • Carrying a caseload, including assessment and various therapy modalities.
  • Monitoring client meetings, admission, continued stay, and discharge criteria.
  • Ensuring timely completion of reports and data submission.
  • Participating in committees to enhance agency service delivery and quality improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for assigned populations, risk assessment, and crisis management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills.
  • Competency in age-related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred.
  • Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: LCSW in the state is required.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
