Looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

A dynamic and busy specialty medical practice is seeking a full-time, team oriented Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is professional, knowledgeable and motivated, to be an integral member of an interdisciplinary chronic pain functional restoration program, behavioral medicine clinic, and pain management practice.

Salary: $120,000 to $130,000

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Assesses patient's needs, abilities and behavior using a variety of methods including interviews and direct observation of behavior
  • Offers treatment modalities for difficulties relating to mental health problems such as: anxiety, depression, end-of-life issues, addictions, coping with chronic or acute pain or injury, social and inter-personal concerns, and challenging behaviors
  • Provides consultation to other professionals, encourages compassionate care integrated with psychological perspectives of treatment
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulations

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in (LCSW)
  • Active license issued by the State of California (LCSW)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Must be able to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
