Join Our Team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California!

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker position is responsible to assess psychosocial patient and family needs and attains emotional and financial resources for patients being served by care. Will provide direct services including individual (including youth), couple, family and group therapeutic services to patients, including assessments, treatment plans and discharge planning.

Salary: $120,000 to $130,000

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Assesses patient's needs, abilities and behavior using a variety of methods including interviews and direct observation of behavior
  • Offers treatment modalities for difficulties relating to mental health problems such as: anxiety, depression, end-of-life issues, addictions, coping with chronic or acute pain or injury, social and inter-personal concerns, and challenging behaviors
  • Provides consultation to other professionals, encourages compassionate care integrated with psychological perspectives of treatment
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulations

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (LCSW) or a related field
  • Active LCSW licensure, and good standing in State of California
  • Minimum of 2 Years experience in a clinical setting with knowledge of Social Work
  • Prior experience working with people with psychiatric disabilities
  • Strong customer service background, preferably in health care environment
