Job Description:

As a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), you will be responsible for psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and counseling, along with brief therapeutic interventions. Additional responsibilities include complex discharge planning, offering consultation and education, establishing community connections, providing supportive services, and managing care for patients, families, significant others, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations of patient needs, abilities, and behaviors using interviews and observations.
  • Deliver therapy for mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, end-of-life issues, addiction, chronic or acute pain, social difficulties, and complex behaviors.
  • Consult with other professionals, promoting empathetic care integrated with psychological treatment approaches.
  • Ensure accurate medical record-keeping in line with regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work with an LCSW credential.
  • Active California state license as an LCSW.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to uphold professional boundaries and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
