Salary: $120,000 to $130,000

Job Description:

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker is responsible for providing direct psychological clinical services to injured workers and services are provided through multiple modalities, including; initial assessments, case management, psychoeducation and movement classes, as well individual, and group psychotherapy. A typical caseload will include a wide variety of individuals who have been injured at work and are experiencing predominantly anxiety, depression, trauma, and issues related to physical pain.

What you will do:

  • Provide individual therapy to adult clients in an outpatient pain clinic.
  • Conduct weekly psychoeducational class sessions for individuals
  • Provide brief individual therapy to individuals in the FRP and evaluating their clinical progress in the program.
  • Perform Assessment and treatment planning for active caseload.
  • Provide clinical care informed by best practices in the field of pain psychology.
  • Refer to other modalities within the clinic as needed.
  • Document all client care in our EMR system.
  • Provide clinical care that complies with all the legal and ethical standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work.
  • Active California License in Clinical Social Work. (LCSW)
  • 2 year Experience with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-oriented interventions
  • Experience in assessment and treatment of patients with chronic pain conditions.
  • Familiarity working with chronic pain/trauma population, an integrated therapeutic approach is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish rapport with patients, families, professionals, and co-workers.
  • Able to work with patients using sound judgment.
