Job description:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide social work services on an as-Services will be provided in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and outreach contexts. The role requires flexibility to work at multiple locations within our network. The ideal candidate will provide telehealth mental health services to individuals utilizing a variety of trauma informed, therapeutic techniques as related to substance use disorder and trauma treatment. Also, responsible for documenting medical necessity to support client entry into our program.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, refer, and advocate for community resources, such as food stamps, childcare, and healthcare, to assist and improve a client’s well-being
  • Respond to crisis situations such as child abuse and mental health emergencies
  • Monitor clients' situations, and follow up to ensure that they have improved
  • Identify people and communities in need of help
  • Monitor clients' situations, and follow up to ensure that they have improved
  • Help clients adjust to changes and challenges in their lives, such as illness, divorce, or unemployment

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
  • Valid LCSW license
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing mental health services, preferably in a health-related setting. Must have Experience working with Veterans.
  • Extensive knowledge of mental health conditions and best practices for psychological treatment
  • Well-developed listening and interview skills to explore patient needs and administer treatment plans
  • Strong verbal communication skills to counsel and advise patients

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication, typing, and filing skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and guidelines effectively.
