Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: $120,000 to $130,000

Job description: The role of this position is to provide clinical social work evaluations, counseling, monitoring of medication side effects under the direction of a Psychiatrist and case management. Also included are pre-release planning, crisis intervention, and the maintenance of an ongoing caseload, documentation, triage, consultation, training, education and referral.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with each client in establishing an aftercare plan that will set them up for success upon discharge from the program.
  • Complete all required documentation promptly by company policies and procedures.
  • Participates in case management and care coordination, including utilization reviews and treatment team meetings
  • Completes detailed and timely documentation including biopsychosocial assessment, weekly goal setting and treatment planning, progress notes, discharge planning, and group and individual sessions.
  • Research, refer, and advocate for community resources, such as food stamps, childcare, and healthcare, to assist and improve a client’s well-being

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program
  • 2 Years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Possession of a CA Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW), active and unrestricted
  • Clinical work experience in a social service or healthcare setting (case management or social worker)
  • Proven ability to manage conflict
  • Experience taking psychosocial history and case management evaluations, including interview techniques, suicide assessments, and forensic designations
