Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Job Types: Full-time
Salary: $90,000 to $100,000
Job description: To assist patients and families with behavioral health and environmental resources to reach the maximum level of functioning during the current episode of care. This position is responsible for conducting behavioral health psychosocial assessments and clinical interventions, inclusive of individual, group, and family therapy. In collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team, coordinates patient care and provides case management for assigned patients.
Responsibilities:
- Identify people and communities in need of help
- Assess clients’ needs, situations, strengths, and support networks to determine their goals
- Help clients adjust to changes and challenges in their lives, such as illness, divorce, or unemployment
- Research, refer, and advocate for community resources, such as food stamps, childcare, and healthcare, to assist and improve a client’s well-being
- Respond to crisis situations such as child abuse and mental health emergencies
- Monitor clients' situations, and follow up to ensure that they have improved
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree Social Work from an accredited graduate program
- 2 Years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Must have Experience working with Veterans.
- California BBS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) –REQUIRED
- Experience taking psychosocial history and case management evaluations, including interview techniques, suicide assessments, and forensic designations
- Knowledge and skills in the areas of individual, group, and family therapy
- Basic understanding of community resources
