Remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Salary: $120,000 to $130,000

Job description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide social work services. Duties may include psychosocial assessment; care coordination, consultation to the team, individual, family or group psychotherapeutic treatment; liaison with community agencies; treatment plan documentation; and disposition planning and advocacy.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to recognize complex clinical situations and seek and apply consultation of supervision when needed
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in crisis situations
• Demonstrated resourcefulness, effective written and verbal communications and diplomacy
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational abilities with previous demonstration of consistency, independence, flexibility, initiative and creativity
• Skill at writing documentation that is timely, meaningful, complete, legible, grammatically correct, concise and consistent with legal and administrative standards

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work
• California license as Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners.
• At least 2 years of experience in providing mental health services, preferably in a health-related setting.
• Evidence of continuing education.
• Experience with Department of Mental Health billing and paperwork requirements
• Background in parent-child intervention
• Knowledge of normal child development, parenting, and child abuse/neglect
