About This Opportunity:
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about direct service and is committed to providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
You’ll have the opportunity to engage in therapy, case management (when appropriate), and advocacy, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, case managers, and community partners.
Job Duties:
- Provide psychotherapy services (individual, couples, family) using evidence-based interventions
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Maintain detailed and timely clinical documentation in compliance with California BBS standards
- Collaborate with internal team members and external providers (e.g., psychiatrists, primary care, school personnel)
- Participate in clinical case consultations, staff meetings, and trainings
- Assist clients in navigating community resources, advocacy systems, and social supports
- Uphold ethical and professional standards, with a focus on client autonomy, dignity, and care
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active LCSW license in the state of California (in good standing)
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Experience providing clinical mental health services to diverse populations
- Excellent communication skills, cultural competence, and clinical judgment
- Familiarity with DSM-5 diagnoses, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred:
- Bilingual (Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Mandarin, etc.)
- Specialized training in modalities such as EMDR, DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, or somatic therapies
- Experience with underserved communities, school-based programs, or community mental health
- Comfort using EHR systems (e.g., SimplePractice, TherapyNotes)
