Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Location: Portland, Iowa
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Compensation: $80,000 to $90,000 + Benefits

Position Summary:

The LCSW will provide direct mental health services to clients experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational issues. Services may include assessments, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and case coordination. Clinicians may work in-office, via telehealth, or in a hybrid model depending on preferences and client needs.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches
  • Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards
  • Coordinate care with medical providers, schools, community agencies, and families
  • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities
  • Promote client empowerment and advocacy through strengths-based and culturally responsive practices

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted LCSW license in Iowa (required)
  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience post-licensure preferred
  • Familiarity with DSM-5, ethical practice standards, and documentation requirements
  • Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills
  • Experience with EHR systems and telehealth platforms a plus
  • Cultural competence and a passion for serving diverse communities
