Looking for a Fulltime Licensed Independent Social Worker at Vitalize Metal and Wellness Center in Seattle, WA

We are seeking a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our team. The LICSW will provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. The successful candidate will manage and maintain caseloads of clients with a variety of mental health disorders. The LICSW will provide psychotherapy, assessment, and consultation services to assist clients in achieving their goals.

Work Schedule

  • 9am to 6pm
  • Monday to Friday
  • No Evenings or Weekends

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assessment of mental health needs, treatment planning, coordination and implementation of behavioral health services for
  • Has thorough knowledge of current trends in local, state and federal programs in the behavioral healthcare
  • This position is a member of the multidisciplinary, primary care team and communicates and interacts with all levels of staff, primary care providers and health center
  • Responsible for the adherence and maintenance of Mental Health policies and procedures for the behavioral health program.
  • Evaluates and assesses (provides intakes) for patients in a timely and courteous
  • Performs counseling and crisis intervention as
  • Refers patients with serious mental health conditions necessitating inpatient or specialty care to appropriate institution or agency outside of
  • Refer patients to MAT
  • Responsible to screen patients for prescription drug abuse, illicit drug abuse and alcohol abuse -

Provide counseling to patients who screen positive or refer them to appropriate resources available in the service area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • LICSW with a Master’s degree of Counseling and Social work from an accredited school
  • Current license to practice as LICSW
  • Demonstrates excellent clinical skills
  • Evidence of mature judgment and crisis intervention
  • Ability to effectively present information both orally and written, to
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Computer literacy is required and ability to process patient records
  • Ability to work with a culturally diverse
