Be Part of Our Team as A Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
Position Summary:
Responsible for offering social services in the behavioral health field, including psychosocial assessments, mental health treatment, and patient referrals to community resources, while working closely with the medical care team. Provides expertise to healthcare professionals on psycho-social issues and available community resources.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Promote the growth of responsive parenting skills in caregivers by listening to and understanding individual family values and concerns, reflecting on individual children's social/emotional needs, and strengthening caregiver competence through positive instructive feedback.
- Assess the development of social-emotional functioning; design and implement individual treatment plans; prepare progress reports; review medical reports; and maintain accurate records of contact
- Evaluates patient data, develops and implements a plan of care for the patient.
- Knowledge of cultural competency and treatment throughout life stages from children to elderly required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Work (LICSW) or a related field
- Independently licensed in Washington State as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
- 2 or more years of previous experience in all aspects of social service, with an emphasis in psychiatric work.
- Current certification/training in the safe management of disruptive and assaultive behavior.
- Ability to be flexible
