Job Overview:

Do you want to spend your time in a rewarding setting working with youth and young adults?. You will spend your days working in an integrated healthcare team with professionals who are committed to assisting in their emotional and mental. You will act as an independent clinician to assess, treat, recommend and refer students, as needed, for additional care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide mental health counseling to teen youth and young adults.
  • Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Implement behavioral therapy techniques to address mental health issues.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay current on best practices in mental health counseling and therapy techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work.
  • Must Have Active License in Washington. (LICSW)
  • Certification in mental health counseling is preferred and WA State licensure
  • At least 2-3 years Experience in working with youth and/or young adults with mental health disorders
  • Strong background in mental health counseling
  • Proficiency in behavioral therapy and patient assessment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation
  • Ability to provide crisis intervention and refer as necessary
