Looking for a Full-time Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)


We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Mental Health specialty to join our outpatient clinic. This is a specialty care clinic providing care to our high-risk patients. You will assist patients dealing with personal and environmental problems which predispose them to illness, or which interfere with their obtaining maximum benefits from medical care

Salary:
$100,000 - $105,000 per year and benefits

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with program planning and organization of services.
  • Communicates with physicians to report patient progress, needs, concerns, and potential and actual problems.
  • Maintains accurate and timely records including clinical and progress notes according to department policy.
  • Works closely with members of the health care team in the development of the plan of treatment, including discharge plans, based on the psychosocial assessment, and accepted social work interventions.
  • Counsels and provides crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems.
  • Consult and coordinate with family and/or support system regarding client treatment and discharge planning.
Qualifications:
  • Must have 3 years of experience in outpatient setting.
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Valid license in the state as Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
  • Strong computer skills including word processing, e-mail systems, spreadsheets, and electronic medical records
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
