Job description:

Responsibilities:

  • Therapist will act in all aspects of the job in a respectful and professional manner. This is to include, but not limited to interpersonal interactions with colleagues and other staff, dressing in a professional manner that reflects their position, and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Clients will be seen at the time of their scheduled appointment in a timely manner.
  • Treatment will comply with all legal and ethical standards as determined by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • Documentation will be completed in a timely manner, and no longer than 72 hours from the time of session. It will also comply with the standards of practice established by professional norms.
  • Therapists will work with support staff to maintain a full schedule on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program
  • 2 Years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW): active and unrestricted
  • Clinical work experience in a social service or healthcare setting (case management or social worker)
  • Proven ability to manage conflict
  • Experience taking psychosocial history and case management evaluations, including interview techniques, suicide assessments, and forensic designations
