Job description:

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker ensures compliance with established policies and procedures of the overall program and timely completion of respective reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to clients as appropriate; Prepares treatment plans, and discharge plans
  • Collects data about patients through interview, case history, and/or observational techniques; Evaluates data to identify causes of problems and to determine proper therapeutic approach or referral to other specialists
  • Possess the ability to train and modify assessment protocols in accordance with best practices and health plan regulations.
  • Holding caseload of individual therapy and collateral therapy
  • Review client case files for quality, timeliness, and accuracy; ensure all documentation (such as the required assessments, forms, care plan, progress notes, closing letters, etc.) is complete and signed; ensure the required internal and external program-specific and client-based portal systems match hard copy client files and files are maintained with current clinical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program
  • A minimum of 2 years in a healthcare setting at least one of which must have been in a mental health setting.
  • Active and unrestricted Clinical Independent Social Worker License (LICSW)
  • Clinical work experience in a social service or healthcare setting (case management or social worker)
  • Proven ability to manage conflict
