Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Empower Seniors to Communicate, Eat, and Live Well in Oregon’s Assisted Living Community
Location: Bend, Oregon
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 + benefits
Position Overview:

As our SLP, you’ll work closely with residents and their families to provide individualized therapy focused on improving or maintaining communication skills, swallowing function, and cognitive abilities.
Your Role:
- Assessing and diagnosing speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each resident
- Providing therapy for a variety of conditions, including aphasia, dysphagia, cognitive decline, and voice disorders
- Educating residents, caregivers, and staff on strategies to enhance communication and swallowing safety
- Collaborating with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, and physicians to provide comprehensive care
- Maintaining accurate, timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP preferred)
- Active Oregon SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certification in dysphagia therapy and experience with cognitive-communication therapy is a plus
- Experience working with geriatric populations is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with both residents and families
- Passion for working as part of a team to improve patient outcomes
