Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Outpatient Setting
Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 per year
Location: Daly City, California
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to patients in an outpatient setting. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide personalized care and help patients achieve optimal functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services in individual or group settings, ensuring a compassionate and supportive environment.
- Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and families about speech and language disorders, treatment plans, and home exercises.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with industry trends and research.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders across a broad age range (pediatric to adult populations).
- Experience in an outpatient setting is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
