Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist – Assisted Living Facility ( Oregon )


Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000 per year

Location: McMinnville , Oregon

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Position Overview:

As a Speech Language Pathologist in our assisted living facility, you will assess and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Your expertise will support residents in improving communication, safe swallowing, and overall participation in daily activities, contributing to their well-being and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and swallowing evaluations for residents
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to resident needs
  • Provide therapy for speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and swallowing safety
  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical teams to coordinate holistic care
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and team meetings

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
  • Active and unrestricted Oregon Speech Language Pathologist license
  • Experience working with geriatric or assisted living populations preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate approach to resident care
  • Excellent clinical reasoning and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
