Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Assisted Living Facility | Beaverton, Oregon

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Patient Load: Approximately 7 patients per day (35 visits per week)
• Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 annually

Your Role:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions.
• Develop and deliver personalized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each resident's goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve residents’ overall quality of life.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Uphold professional standards and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active SLP license in Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, ideally working with older adults.
• Exceptional communication skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
