Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Assisted Living Facility | Bend, Oregon
We are hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in an Assisted Living Facility. In this role, you’ll help residents regain their voice, confidence, and independence. From improving communication to addressing swallowing challenges, your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing their quality of life in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Patient Load: Approximately 7 patients per day (35 visits per week)
- Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 annually
Key Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions.
- Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to optimize residents’ overall well-being.
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active SLP license in Oregon.
- At least two years of clinical experience, preferably in geriatric care.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
