Safe Way Cardio Care is in need for a Cardiothoracic Surgeon
Safe Way Cardio Care seeks to hire a Cardiothoracic surgeon. The ideal candidate will provide the full scope of cardiothoracic services which fall under his/her field of training, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care. In addition, the Physician is a member of the team. In that capacity they are expected to be familiar with the philosophy, goals and objectives and work collaboratively to achieve them.

Qualifications:
Safe Way Cardio Care seeks to hire a Cardiothoracic surgeon. The ideal candidate will provide the full scope of cardiothoracic services which fall under his/her field of training, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care. In addition, the Physician is a member of the team. In that capacity they are expected to be familiar with the philosophy, goals and objectives and work collaboratively to achieve them.
Responsibilities:
- Performing medical evaluation, diagnosing and treating conditions, injuries and diseases that affect the organs in the thorax and chest.
- Performing a wide range of corrective and critical care operations, such as chest wall tumor resections, tracheotomies, lung transplants and pulmonary embolectomies.
- Directing overall management of patients in collaboration with other members of the health care team.
- Supervision and education of Residents and medical students from affiliate schools is required.
- Participation in an effective clinical program with attention to patient outcome indicators.
- Practice within the scope of assigned privileges.
- Meet medical staff criteria for initial appointment and reappointment, including ongoing CME.

Qualifications:
- Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed.
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Residency Training: Physicians must have completed residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Selected applicants will be required to complete an online onboarding process.
- $500,000 to $700,000 per year + bonus
