Full-time General Surgeon Wanted in Aurora, IL
Heart of Hope Surgical Associates is seeking a general surgeon to join their growing community today. The community is a 5-physician general surgery group, and the physicians are long-standing members of the Hospital Medical Staff of the state. Call is 1:5 and the practice also employ two inpatient Physician Assistants.

Job Type: This is a full-time W-2 position with benefits.
Job Schedule:
- Regular business hours with occasional on-call and weekend duties.

Responsibilities:
- Performing a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to: gastrointestinal, endocrine, breast, and hernia surgeries.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions and injuries that require surgical intervention.
- Prescribing medication and recommending non-surgical treatment options as needed.
- Reviewing patient medical histories and monitoring patient progress.
- Provide patients and their families with information and guidance regarding their surgical procedures and recovery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as anesthesiologists and nurses, to ensure safe and effective surgical procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in surgical techniques and technology.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to other medical staff.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Completion of a surgical residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
- Valid state medical license.
- Proficiency in surgical techniques and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits:
$400,000 - $500,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
