Full-time General Surgeon Wanted in Mount Sinai, NY

Alliance Surgical Specialists is seeking for a full-time General Surgeon to join their dynamic team of healthcare professionals. Job Type: This is a full-time W-2 position with benefits.

Job Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No nights
  • No weekends

Job Setting:

Responsibilities:

  • Performing a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to: gastrointestinal, endocrine, breast, and hernia surgeries.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions and injuries that require surgical intervention.
  • Prescribing medication and recommending non-surgical treatment options as needed.
  • Reviewing patient medical histories and monitoring patient progress.
  • Provide patients and their families with information and guidance regarding their surgical procedures and recovery.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as anesthesiologists and nurses, to ensure safe and effective surgical procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in surgical techniques and technology.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to other medical staff.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Completion of a surgical residency program.
  • Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
  • Valid state medical license.
  • Proficiency in surgical techniques and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits:

$400,000 - $600,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
